We offer a wide variety of volunteering opportunities in all our teams, so you can choose the one that fits you best. We are looking for enthusiastic people who want to gain some experience in the field of EU-China relations and learn skills they can use in their current or future workplace. 

Our call for applications for staff positions is now OPEN.

We are recruiting the following positions for the term running from October 2025 to September 2026:

 

•⁠  ⁠Events Officer: Create regular in-person and virtual events ranging from expert panels to workshops.

•⁠  ⁠Podcast Officer: Contribute to the recording, editing, and publication of European Guanxi’s podcast and its promotion.

•⁠  ⁠Social Media Officer: Contribute to our communication strategy and publish creative, engaging posts.

•⁠  ⁠Newsletter Officer: Curate a newsletter followed by more than 2,000 readers.

•⁠  ⁠Website Officer: Help us maintain a professional and engaging online presence.

•⁠  ⁠Writer: Write thematic blog posts on Sino-European relations.

•⁠  ⁠Editor: Edit and review blog pieces, strengthening critical thinking and writing quality.

•⁠  ⁠Partnerships & Fundraising Officer: Help us secure funding, build relations with partners, and contribute to fundraising strategies.

•⁠  ⁠Memberships Officer: Manage member engagement and well-being, organize social events, and support internal communications.

Your Profile:

 

•⁠  ⁠You want to shape the future of EU–China relations by driving impactful projects as part of a team in European Guanxi.

•⁠  ⁠You are self-driven, and ready to take the next step toward becoming a future leader in our organisation.

•⁠  ⁠Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students, as well as young professionals between the ages of 18 and 35, are welcome to apply.

Please note that these positions are unpaid and entail a one-off staff membership fee of 5 euros. Selected candidates are expected to dedicate about 10 hours per week to their responsibilities in EG.

All our positions are voluntary and remote, which means you can carry out your activities online, with no in-person time or travel required. 

You do not need to be a member to apply. However, if selected to join the EG staff, you will be required to become a member.
