Introductory InformationSession: Guanghua school’s Global Master in Management
Event Description
European Guanxi is pleased to host an online information session dedicated to the Global Master in Management offered by the Guanghua School of Management at Peking University.
This session is designed for students and young professionals interested in pursuing advanced management education in China and in understanding the academic, professional, and strategic value of studying management in a global context increasingly shaped by China’s role in the world economy.
The session will be led by Prof. Xu Xinzhong (赛伟), Professor of Finance and Academic Director of the Global Master in Management. Drawing on his academic background and international policy experience, including his time as Senior Economist at the Bank of England, Prof. Xu will discuss the rationale behind the program, its academic positioning, and the competencies required for future global leaders navigating increasingly complex international business environments.
Participants will gain insights into why China represents a unique learning environment for management studies, how management education in China differs from traditional Western models, and how international students can leverage a China-based academic experience for global career development.
