The China School

A two-week programme for aspiring China researchers

European Guanxi is delighted to co-host an Information Session on “The China School”.

Our mission is to deepen the understanding of China and promote engagement by sharing opportunities for China-focused discussions and on-the-ground experiences.

This information session introduces The China Schools’ 2025 programme, titled “China's Hi-Tech Rise: Strategies, Players and Perspectives”. The event is co-hosted with representatives from The China School, who will provide details about this unique programme. It will be held in person in Milan, Beijing, and Shanghai, from 14 July to 28 July 2025.

This event will be recorded and published on our YouTube channel to ensure that all potential applicants can benefit from the information shared.

When? Saturday, 19 April, 11:00 am CET

The China School, organized by the Research Center on Contemporary China (CSCC) and the Graduate School of Management of Polytechnic University of Milan, offers a unique opportunity to explore China’s economic transformation driven by domestic technology.

This two-week program combines lectures by leading China scholars in Milan with career-oriented meetings and company visits in Beijing and Shanghai. The focus of the 2025 edition is China’s hi-tech rise and its global economic impact.

The program runs from 14 to 28 July 2025, starting in Milan and concluding with visits to China. Participants will engage in lectures, company visits, and guided tours, gaining diverse perspectives from experts in Economics, International Relations, and Political Science.

The China School also provides opportunities for career networking with scholars and executives. Supported by the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, it is open to 30 participants. The application deadline is 30 April 2025, with applications reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.

For more details on the application process, refer to The China School.
