China's rise and the Asian constellation

China's rise and the sudden unpredictability of the United States in the Trump era had profound effects on the order of East and South Asia. This webinar will deal with the movements of the middle powers such as Japan and India, the Korean knot and the varied approach of the ASEAN countries.

Other issues that will be covered are international cooperation initiatives, from the Belt and Road to multilateral treaties, and topics of tension, from the South China Sea to disputed borders. This webinar will offer a map of the current Synasiatic geopolitics.

The event will be moderated by Alessia Paolillo, the Head of European Guanxi's Strategic Communication Team. She graduated with honours both from her bachelor and master’s degrees in “Oriental Languages” at the university of Rome La Sapienza. She is currently enrolled in a second Master's degree in “International Public Affairs” at the University Luiss Guido Carli.
