About the Event
In this webinar Dr. Jili Chung will explore China’s innovation ecosystem from the unique perspective offered by its STAR Market and the strategic insights obtainable from it. Furthermore, the history and the current functioning of China’s IP exchange will be discussed. Finally, Dr. Chung will introduce some IP-related business models that are booming in China.
Our speaker:
Dr. Chung is a cross-culture, cross-disciplinary legal professional. He worked in international cities for global companies, including Goldman as its Executive Director, and an Apple’s strategic partner as its General Counsel, leading the legal/IP department of 100 professionals from diversified regions/countries. He obtained his J.D. from UCLA, Ph.D. in Economic Law from Peking University, MBA and BS in Chemical Engineering from National Taiwan University, and MOT from MIT Sloan Fellow MBA Program. He is an attorney at law (US California and China) and a patent agent (China), and holds the Securities Professional Certification (China). With his 15-years’ working experience in the Greater China, Dr. Chung is dedicated himself to IP innovative strategies, and enthusiastic about exploring values of ancient Chinese culture through IP mining and technology innovation.
Our moderator: Valeria Fappani is an active member of European Guanxi, where she works in the Webinars Team. She obtained a Bachelor's degree in Foreign Languages (English and Chinese) and has completed her Master's in European and International Studies. She’s currently attending a postgraduate course by the Italian Trade Agency focusing on export management and digitalisation.
