EG 2024 Board Campaign

Do you want to make a difference in

Every year, EG members and all people willing to join can apply to become Executive Board members. Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or new to the scene, we look forward to your skills, ideas, and energy.

What we want in our board is ambition, motivation, and, last but not least, reliability

We are currently looking for:

  • Podcast Sub-team Head (Events Deputy Head)

  • Chief Communications Officer (Communications Head)

  • Social Media Sub-team Head (Communications Deputy Head)

  • Newsletter Sub-team Head (Communications Deputy Head)

  • Website Sub-team Head (Communications Deputy Head)

  • Chief Partnerships & Fundraising Officer

  • Chief Memberships Officer

  • Editor-in-Chief

  • Deputy Editor-in-Chief

  • ​Lead Editor

Previous NGO experience is highly preferred! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are willing to take the next step and become the future leaders of this organization, people who could contribute to EG by sharing their skills and experience.

Both Bachelor's and Master's students are very much welcome, and PhD Students/Candidates are encouraged to apply as well!

​

All our board volunteering positions are remote (virtual), which means you can carry out your activities online, with no in-person time or travel required. 

​

Applications will close on October 24th, 2024

​

You do not need to be a member to apply; however, if selected to join the EG staff, you will be asked to become a member, which entails a one-off board membership fee of 20 euros.

The Process

You can apply for up to two positions (in order of preference). For more information about the positions, click here (please note that a Vice President and Vice Secretary-General have already been selected).

All candidacies will be reviewed by the incoming President and Secretary-General. To be considered for the EG Executive Board, you will need to submit:

​

  • A short cover letter (no more than one page) presenting yourself and your motivation. The cover letter should include any goals you intend to achieve if accepted. If applying for two different positions, you should make sure your motivation for both is covered in your cover letter.

  • A detailed CV (two pages maximum, NO Europass) highlighting relevant experience.

 

All the documents should uploaded to the form below by October 24th, 2024

 

After the deadline, all applications will be gathered and assessed by the new President and Secretary-General. You can expect to hear back from us at the end of October. If shortlisted, you will be invited to an interview.
