Currently pursuing an MSc in Nationalism, Ethnic Conflict, and Development at Leiden University, Blanca holds a Double BA in International Relations and Translation and has studied abroad at SOAS and the Freie Universität Berlin.
She has pursued her passion for foreign policy and security in Asia-Pacific and the EU via internships in think tanks such as the IEEE and the Spanish Chinese Policy Observatory, as well as her work in European youth organizations such as the European Student Think Tank. She is currently interning at the International Institute for Asian Studies.

Annabelle Duval
Vice-Editor-in-Chief
Annabelle is a PhD Researcher at the University de Nantes, in collaboration with UCLA, and explores the political, spatial and environmental approaches to Urban Metabolism. Passionate for geopolitics and international cooperation, she holds two degrees in Political Sciences and Urban Studies. French national, born and raised in Greater China, throughout her personal, academic and professional life she has continuously merged her European identity with Asian affinities, with the ambition to deepen mutual understanding between the cultures.


Calvin Oliver
Lead Editor
Ilaria holds a Bachelor in Oriental Studies with a curriculum in Chinese language and culture at La Sapienza, and studied Chinese language at the Beijing Foreign Studies University.
Currently pursuing an MA in International Relations in the Digital Era at LUMSA, she is now doing an internship at the Italian Economic, Trade and Cultural Promotion Office in Taipei (IETCPO) at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Jessica Milano

Jessica is about to graduate in International Science at Turin University (Italy) and is part of a Double Degree Program with Zhejiang University (PRC). She holds a Bachelor in Political, Social and International Science from Bologna University. She worked as an intern at the Italian Embassy in Hanoi (Vietnam). Currently, she is an Administrative & Research Assistant at the Asia Institute in Bologna. She is passionate about Chinese foreign policy and EU external affairs.
Conor Nolan
Deputy Secretary General
Conor holds a degree in International Commerce and Chinese and is currently pursuing a Masters in International Relations at University College Dublin.
His research passion includes the future of democracy, the European Union and China, Foreign, Climate and Trade Policy. He aims to contribute to the debate on EU-China relations while improving the agency of young Europeans to have their voices heard.

Joan Martínez Abad
Treasurer
Joan is currently pursuing a degree in East Asian Studies, Chinese and business curriculum, at Univesitat Autònoma de Barcelona and at Università Ca'Foscari. He also studied Chinese Language and Culture at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and at Tianjin Foreign Studies University. He’s interested in international trade, supply chain management, and intercultural communication.

Alessia Paolillo
Head of Strategic Communication
Alessia Paolillo graduated in Oriental Studies, Chinese curriculum, at La Sapienza for both her bachelor and master degrees.
She's currently enrolled in a second master's in International Public Affairs at Luiss Guido Carli.
An expert in Sino-Italian relations, passionate about Chinese domestic and foreign politics, she is addicted to Chinese dramas, and DRAMAtically not ashamed of it!"

Mauro Dellisanti
Head of EG China
Born and raised in Italy, Mauro graduated in economics from the University of Glasgow, UK. In 2018, Mauro left the UK to come to Shanghai, where he graduated with a master's degree in Chinese Economy at Fudan University. Mauro is a finance manager at RsA Asia, tax and corporate advisory firm assisting companies, multinational groups, and institutions in the Asian region.
Mauro's greater passion, as you can understand from his professional background and by his presence in EG, is bridging Europe and China. Causes of special interest for Mauro are intergenerational justice and financial literacy.


Martina Zuliani
Head of EG Italy
Martina holds a double bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language and Civilization. She is currently enrolled in a master’s degree program in International Relations at Peking University.
Head of EG Italy, her life motto reads “If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door”.

Julius Geißler
Head of EG Germany
Julius is currently pursuing a degree in Philosophy and Economics at the University of Bayreuth. Having spent some time abroad at Peking University, he is particularly interested in Chinese philosophy, the history of ideas, and the promotion of intercultural dialogue.

Antonio José Pagán Sánchez
Co-founder
Antonio José Pagán Sánchez holds a degree in History (University of Murcia) and a master´s degree in Chinese Studies (Pompeu Fabra University). He is currently a PhD student in International Relations at Nankai University and at the City University of Hong Kong.
He is interested in Chinese politics, Chinese foreign policy and the international implications of the rise of China.
